McInnes open to retaining Watford's Hoban for Dons

Friedel looking to shop in England for reinforcements

Brad Friedel will go shopping in the Premier League as he looks for reinforcements for his New England Patriots side. 

Friedel has ties with a number of Premier League clubs, with the American making 450 appearances in England's top flight from 1997-2015 for Liverpool, Blackburn, Tottenham and Aston Villa.

Ahead of the new Major League Soccer season, the 47-year-old is trying to use his relationships and connections with the Premier League to make headway in the transfer market.

Brazil striker Neymar would consider a move to either Milan or Inter should he decide to leave Paris Saint-Germain, according to Don Balon.

The 27-year-old is reportedly considering his future at the French champions and is willing to try a new league.

That has seen him turn his attentions to both Milan clubs, though he would only consider a move to San Siro if they were playing in the Champions League.

However, the Nerazzurri would face competition from Juventus for the 21-year-old's signature.

Leon leaves on loan

There is no chance of Cristiano Ronaldo making a dramatic return to Manchester United from Juventus, report Le10 Sport.

Juventus' sports director Fabio Paratici reportedly contacted a journalist, who was discussing the potential transfer on an Italian TV show, to firmly deny the rumours.

Ronaldo only made the move to Turin from Real Madrid last summer for a reported €100m (£88m/$117m).

The Blues were given a two-window ban by FIFA for breaching rules in relation to the signing of youth players, though they have since appealed that ruling.

Should the ban be upheld Tuttosport claim Chelsea could still extend Higuain's loan, or make it a permanent deal, as he is technically already a Chelsea player so would not require a new registration.

Newcastle to sign Joelinton

The two clubs have been in talks for some time and hope to complete negotiations early next week.

The 22-year-old would cost Newcastle a club-record €60million (£52m/$68m), which would also be a record sale for Hoffenheim.

Inter change their mind over Perisic

Ivan Perisic looks set to stay at Inter after the Italian club made a U-turn over the Croatian's future, according to Calciomercato.

Perisic reportedly handed in a transfer request last month in order to force through a move to Arsenal, with Inter willing to let the 30-year-old leave.

Paris Saint-Germain will not have to sell Neymar or Kylian Mbappe to meet Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations, according to the Ligue 1 club's president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

"It's not 100 per cent, but 2,000 per cent," Al-Khelafi told Le Parisien when asked if PSG's star duo would remain at Parc des Princes.

Both players have been linked with moves away, with Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona among the club reportedly interested.

Zinedine Zidane will be given £200 million ($261m) to spend at Chelsea should he be named manager, The Sun reports. 

Though Chelsea were hit with a two-window transfer ban on Friday, they are set to appeal and should be free to spend in the summer if that is the case.

Despite the ban, Zidane is still understood to be keen on the Stamford Bridge job, with Maurizio Sarri on the brink of the sack.
