After a narrow opening day defeat, the Foxes will feel confident of turning things around when they welcome the Seagulls.

Leicester City and Brighton and Hove Albion lock horns at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The 2015/2016 champions suffered an opening day 4-3 defeat in the hands of Arsenal but there’s a lot to happy about as Craig Shakespeare’s men took the lead twice and were lethal in attack. This could give them advantage for a home win here at odds of (1.75) with LionsBet.

The Seagulls lost 2-0 at home to Manchester City, a reminder life in the top-flight won’t be easy. Brighton recently had the better of Leicester in the Championship but with the environment now different, they are considered underdogs with the same firm at (5.25).

A draw after 90 minutes is priced at odds of (3.85).

Brighton are unbeaten in their last three meetings with Leicester, winning two and drawing once. Though this was back in the English second tier, bookies offer generous odds of (1.80) to see them leave East Midlands with a win or draw.

Leicester have lost just once at home since Craig Shakespeare took charge in February. They also won five of their last seven league games last term, averaging three goals per game.

LionsBet quotes a win to nil for the East midlands outfit at (2.65) while it’s (1.90) to see a minimum of three goals in this game.

Jamie Vardy scored a brace in the defeat to the Gunners and this is probably the most important factor towards Leicester claiming victory on Saturday afternoon.

The Englishman scored 10 goals between February and May as the Foxes kicked off their resurgence under Shakespeare.

Bookies tip him to score first at odds of (3.40) and (1.65) anytime.
