Joao Mario looks set to leave Inter Milan in the current transfer window on a loan deal to the Premier League. With David Moyes’ West Ham reportedly looking for Joao Mario to strengthen their midfield, the move becomes likelier as the player has been ousted out of his position by Marcelo Brozovic at the Milan-based club.
The Portuguese international cost the club 45 million Euros when he was bought after a good overall performance at the Euro 2016, which Portugal won against France. What prevents him from making the move to England is the fact that he may have “a number of options” according to sources.
From West Ham’s side, they are looking to sell strikers if it means they are able to fund for midfielders. The club is reportedly willing to listen to offers for Diafra Sakho, Javier Hernandez and Andy Carroll with the latter garnering interest from Chelsea.
