Is former Kariobangi Sharks defender Pascal Ogweno set to join Gor Mahia?

Pascal Ogweno is set to join Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia.

Ogweno is among the nine players, who left Kariobangi Sharks at the end of the season, but he could join the Dylan Kerr led side in the coming days.

The defender was, on Friday spotted by Goal lenses as he trained with the defending champions, who are preparing to take on English Premier League side, Everton in a friendly match in November.

According to a source within the club, Ogweno, whose contract with Sharks, was set to expire in December, has already ‘signed’ for K’Ogalo though the deal is yet to be made official by the club.

"He's not just training with us. He already joined the team and the full details will be revealed soon by the management. Everything has been finalized," revealed the source.
