GOAL Predictions: It's Croatia vs Brazil and Netherlands vs Argentina in the World Cup quarter-finals

The quarter-finals of the World Cup are upon us!

Who will progress to the final four of the competition?

GOAL is here to guide you through the two matches taking place on Friday and predict which teams will go through to the next round with the GOAL Predictions show, powered by Parimatch.

Join the hosts Yarns and Jessica in taking a close look at the contenders as pre-tournament favourites Brazil battle 2018 runners-up Croatia and three-time finalists Netherlands take on Lionel Messi and his Argentina. They are joined by guests Kalum van Oudheusden.

On the pitch the stakes are high for all involved as the likes of Neymar, Vinicius Junior and Richarlison look to cash in on their incredible talents to guide the Selecao to a first World Cup success in 20 years.

Meanwhile, Croatia are out to get the best out of stars such as Luka Modric, Ivan Perisic, Andrej Kramaric and Josko Gvardiol to take them one further than their exceptional campaign in Russia, which saw them go all the way to the final before losing to France.

And in the other game, the pressure is on Argentina to give Messi the World Cup trophy that he deserves in his final World Cup. The six-time Ballon d'Or winner guided the Albiceleste to the Copa America title and now hopes to complete the set by bowing out as a world champion.

Louis van Gaal's Netherlands are out to put a stop to that, however, with Virgil van Dijk, Frenkie de Jong, Memphis Depay and Cody Gakpo all high in confidence after beating USA in the previous round.
