Giroud grabs Cavani round the neck in half-time confrontation

Olivier Giroud sent a message to Edinson Cavani as he grabbed his counterpart around the neck as the players were leaving the pitch at the end of a feisty first-half encounter between Arsenal and Paris St Germain in a crunch Champions League clash on Wednesday.

It followed a rather unsavoury incident minutes before when Cavani appeared to throw a punch at Aaron Ramsey.

That behaviour seemed to upset Giroud who was determined to have a word with the PSG man.

Giroud initially put an arm around Cavani and had a quiet word before the striker snapped back, prompting an angry reaction from the France international.
