A product of Manchester United's youth academy, Campbell, who has previously played for, Royal Antwerp, Tottenham, Sunderland, Cardiff City and Crystal Palace, is among the 18 players named by coach Nigel Adkins for the tour of Kenya.
The Tigers will depart for Kenya on Friday for a trip arranged in conjunction with main shirt sponsor SportPesa. Apart from the friendly against K’Ogalo, the players and staff will witness the work of several community projects in areas such as the Kibera slum.
On the pitch, the visit is aligned with SportPesa’s mission to develop grassroots football on the African continent with the match against Gor Mahia aimed at exposing local players to international competition and increasing their exposure on the world football scene.
The friendly will be played at Kasarani Stadium and will kick-off at 3pm.
