Former Gor Mahia coach Frank Nuttall has congratulated Harambee Stars trio following Kenya’s victory over Ethiopia in the Afcon Qualifiers.

Harambee Stars beat Ethiopia 3-0 at home on Sunday to move close to booking a second trip to the Afcon finals after a 14 years hiatus.

The win over Walya Antelopes left Kenya needing just a point in the remaining two games against Sierra Leone and Ghana to secure a place in the bi-annual games set to be held in Cameroon.

The former K’Ogalo coach joined a host of other personalities in congratulating Stars after the win.

“Well done to Kenya for 3-0 win v Ethiopia. Great to see my former players, Olunga, Kahata and Musa Mohammed in the team, well done lads!” said Nuttall, who won two KPL title with K’Ogalo in 2014 and 2015.

Under Nuttall, who took over from Bobby Williamson, Gor Mahia went unbeaten to retain the 2015 title where he also won the KPL coach of the year award.
