South African soccer fans are probably asking Santa for Christmas presents, and are pushing their luck.
First we came across a Kaizer Chiefs fan who wanted to sign Thembi Kgatlana. Now, a Mamelodi Sundowns fan is asking Patrice Motsepe to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.
Okay, so he's not demanding for Ronaldo to arrive in the January window, but he may be hoping that CR7 gets tired of Juventus and moves to the PSL in a few years time.
Unfortunately, PSL clubs don't have a record of paying big money salaries to attract top European players, even when they are past their best.
The United States, Australia and recently China are the destinations of choice for famous players to spend their twilight year.
Can Motsepe change all that in future? This Twitter fan is hoping that will be the case. Do you have any unbelievable transfer requests this Christmas?
This man could bring us Cristiano Ronaldo if we ask him nicely. pic.twitter.com/gnd1U93f7p— Innocent Lesiba Matsemela (@innocent_lesiba) December 2, 2018
