EXTRA TIME: Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp's emotional letter to Joost van der Westhuizen's son

One of South Africa's most famous rugby legends, Joost van der Westhuizen passed away due to Motor Neuron Disease (MND) in February this year

The late Springbok player, Joost and his 13-year-old son, Jordan van der Westhuizen were both Liverpool fans. 

Jordan and his mother Amor Vittone were surprised to receive a signed Liverpool jersey from the players and the coach, Klopp this week.

The manager also penned a letter to Jordan van der Westhuizen. You can see photos of the jersey and letters below.

Here are the words from the letter written by Klopp to Jordan van der Westhuizen.

"We know that your Daddy was a huge fan of Liverpool FC and we're so pleased that he shared his passion with you. The letter you wrote to him about LFC meant a lot to us... We hope you will have happy memories of the time you spent with him watching LFC play. You'll never walk alone," wrote Klopp.
