Emmanuel Boateng scores, adds two assists in victory against FC Porto

Emmanuel Okyere Boateng scored the first goal in a 3-1 win against FC Porto as Moreirense escaped relegation in the Portuguese Primeira Liga on Sunday.

The 20-year-old then set up two more goals for his side whose cruise to victory ensured they moved up to 15th spot and avoid the drop.

It has been a breakout season for the young Boateng who led the frontline of the green and whites starting 16 of 26 total appearances in the league.

He scored seven goals in the Primeira Liga and added three more in the Taca de Liga which they won in January.

It is a great improvement on his first season where he scored two goals in the league from five starts in 27 appearances.

The youngster could be on the radar of new Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah who starts to rebuild the team with an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in June.
