The former Italy international is not convinced by Juventus' Argentine forward and believes Inter are the team to beat in Serie A this season

Antonio Cassano does not believe that Juventus forward Paulo Dybala is worth €100 million and considers Sampdoria’s Patrik Schick to be a better player.

Transfer fees have been further inflated this summer by the record-breaking move of Neymar from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain for €222m.

Dybala’s valuation would have been expected to increase as a result, with the Argentine having impressed during his time in Turin – with Real Madrid and Barcelona among those to have been linked with an approach for his services.

Former Italy international Cassano is, however, not convinced that the 23-year-old can be considered elite.

He told Gazzetta dello Sport: “Is Dybala is worth 100 million? For me, he cannot play for Real or Barcelona.”

While not a fan of Dybala, Cassano feels that Samp star Schick – who was heavily linked with a move to Juve at one stage this summer – can be a star of the present and future.

He added: "Schick? He's better than Dybala and, due to his characteristics, I advise him to join Inter."

Luciano Spalletti Inter Fiorentina

Cassano believes Inter could be considered the team to beat in Serie A this season, with Luciano Spalletti the final piece in the jigsaw.

Spalletti was named as Stefano Pioli's replacement in June and enjoyed a winning start to the 2017-18 season with a 3-0 victory over Fiorentina last weekend.

That comprehensive home success came after impressive triumphs over Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Lyon during pre-season.

Six new players have arrived at San Siro to bolster Spalletti's options, and Cassano believes it is the former Roma boss who will make the difference in this year’s title race.

He said: "Who will win Serie A? I'd say Inter ahead of Juventus and Napoli. Inter have had a smart transfer campaign.

"Inter have a genius in their dugout this season: Spalletti.

"They can beat Juventus [to the title]."
