Dreams FC complete signing of Yakubu and Razak

Ghana Premier League returnees Dreams FC have announced the signings of Issah Yakubu and Razak Cromwell from second-tier side Proud United in a four-year deal.

The duo caught the eye of the club's scouting team after their splendid performance in the just-concluded Ghana Division One League.

Dreams are making a return to the top-flight following their demotion last two seasons after Court of Arbitration for Sports found them guilty of 'wrongfully registering Daniel Gozar'.

"Dreams Football Club wishes to announce the signing of Issah Yakubu and Razak Cromwell from Proud United FC," a club's statement read.

"The two defenders had a sterling term in Zone II of the Division One League hence their capture after thorough scouting and monitoring by the technical department of the club.

"Yakubu and Cromwell would stay with the club until 2021 after penning 4 year deals each on Tuesday morning.

“The move was sealed after the duo successfully passed medicals last Friday at the Philteng Medical Centre.

"This brings to three the number of additions made to the squad as the club gears up for successful comeback to the Ghana Premier League," the statement added.

Cletus Nombil, who was unveiled last week, became the club's first signing after agreeing a deal from Tudu Mighty Jets.
