The Malians are rock bottom of Group C with four points from four matches played so far and must defeat the People Elephants to keep alive their hopes for progression on Sunday.

And the defender, is poised to inspire his mates to a home victory against the Nigerian giants, who harbours the quest of securing a vital result at the Modibo Keita Stadium.

"We are determined to win this game as we know it is very important for both of us," Kone told Goal.

"It is a must-win game for us and we cannot gamble with this chance, especially when playing at home. We've motivated ourselves and everyone is promising to give their best. We want nothing short of a win.

" It will be a difficult game, we know this but we cannot allow them (Enyimba) beat us twice. So, we need to do the needful and get the result we want which is the three points.

"Everyone is fully aware of how important this game is to the team and we must do all in our side to win. We have our game plan and we make sure it we execute it to the latter."
