Javier Hernández’s agent confirmed on Mexico’s FOX Sports that the striker would be looking for a loan move away from West Ham in order to generate more game time ahead of this year’s World Cup finals in Russia.
Newcastle United have had a poor season in front of goal only scoring 22. Despite not being the league’s worst scoring side it is clear that none of the current strikers, being Dwight Gayle, Joselu, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Ayoze Pérez have stepped up to be the main goalscorer for Rafael Benítez’s side. Currently they sit in 15th with just 1 point above the drop zone and without a conclusion to the club’s takeover situation it looks like as though no new permanent transfers will be made.
Chelsea’s Brazilian winger Robert Kenedy, looks set to sign for the Magpies on a loan deal until the end of the season, indicating that loan signings will be approved at St James Park while the takeover negotiations continue. A potential move to the North East could be the answer for both parties.
Meanwhile at West Ham, Marko Arnautovic has been the main man up front for manager David Moyes recently however the former Everton and Manchester United coach confirmed he would still be keen to hold on to the Mexican International especially with injuries Andy Carroll and Michail Antonio.
