Cosmos Duada denies signing contract with Al Faisaly

Former Hearts of Oak striker Cosmos Dauda has refuted claims that he has joined Al Faisaly in Jordan ahead of the new season.

The 24-year-old mutually terminated his contract with the Phobians two months ago, following a slow start to the Ghana Premier League and has been on the lookout for a new club.

According to reports in the local media, he had passed a medical and signed a two-year contract with an option for another year after being spotted in Jordan this week but he insists there's no iota of truth in it all.

"Let your story be authentic. Don't just want to be the first to post to gain credit thereby misleading people when you can just ask directly. I've not joined any club at the moment," Dauda wrote on Facebook.

"I am a footballer but I know credible journalists and I know a lot of people with [smart] phones with strong nativity. Don't be the caught where you will plead for mercy). I've been around their facility but doesn't mean I've signed any contract," he added.

Dauda has also been linked with Karela United, Liberty Professionals and Techiman Eleven Wonders.
