'There's no let up' - Celtic's Rogic thrilled to be back

Tom Rogic returned to the field for Celtic on Wednesday night and says he's rested and ready to go for the remainder of the season.

The Socceroos' talismanic playmaker featured for the first time in four months, coming off the bench in Celtic's 1-1 draw with Partick Thistle in the Scottish Premiership.

With the Scottish Cup final coming up later this month, Rogic believes there's plenty to play for after returning from his ankle injury.

"It's nice to be back," Rogic told media after the game.

"It's not been easy being out, but you have to deal with it.

"I've been working as hard as I can every day to get back as soon as possible, so it was great to get back out on the pitch."

Rogic's return is timely news for the Socceroos ahead of the must-win World Cup qualifier in Adelaide against Saudi Arabia on June 8.

The attacking midfielder credited Celtic manager for helping him through his stint on the sidelines.

Rodgers labelled Rogic the "magic man" on Wednesday.

"The manager's been fantastic throughout my injury," Rogic said.

"He always spoke to me and gave that motivation to keep working hard.

"The good thing about this team is that it's a collective group of players and staff who work well together."

Rogic has scored 10 goals in all competitions this season, helping Celtic win the league title and the Scottish League Cup.

The 24-year-old also hopes to be involved when the Hoops meet archrivals Rangers in the Scottish Cup Final on April 23 as Rodgers' men look to complete a domestic treble.

"It's been a fantastic season, and it's been great to be part of it," he said.

"I've had my rest, there's still a lot to play for this season and there's no let up.

"We'll keep pushing until there are no more games."
