Khamati incurred a soft tissue injury on his knee in a 2-0 victory against Vihiga United but is now fit to return to action

Tusker have received a major boost ahead of the Kenyan Premier League Round 30 match against Thika United.

Robert Matano side, who are fifth on the log, welcomed back striker Michael Khamati after three months injury lay-off. “Khamati is back in training after three months absence,” Tusker confirmed in a statement.

Khamati incurred a soft tissue injury on his knee in a 2-0 victory against Vihiga United on June 30th away in Mumias.

This comes as good news for Tusker who still have some tricky fixtures including a game against champions Gor Mahia, AFC Leopards and Mathare United.
