Betting: Tottenham cut from 25/1 to 14/1 for Champions League glory after Juventus fightback

Gonzalo Higuain's early strike lit the blue touch paper on what proved to be a fantastic Champions League last 16 clash between Juventus and Tottenham in Turin.

The Serie A champions had drifted out to 7/5 (from 21/20) to win the match during the day, but were 2-0 inside 10 minutes as Higuain dispatched a penalty.

It looked as if Spurs could kiss their hopes of European glory goodbye, given Juve’s impressive defensive record which had seen them concede just one goal in their previous 16 matches in all competitions.

However, goals from Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen either side of half time combined with Higuain missing from the penalty spot just before the break means Spurs are now fancied to progress from the two-legged tie.

dabblebet were 25/1 (26.0) about Pochettino's men in the outright winner market before kick-off, and that has now been cut to 14/1 (15.0) after the 2-2 draw - which handed the Premier League side an advantage heading back to Wembley, where they’ll be favourites to qualify.

Kane has been clipped from 13/2 (7.50) to 11/2 (6.50) to win the top scorer prize, albeit the England international still trails odds-on favourite Cristiano Ronaldo (4/5) by two goals ahead of Real Madrid's clash with Paris Saint-Germain at the Bernabeu.

The other last 16 match on Tuesday saw Manchester City fully justify their 1/3 (1.33) pre-match quotes in a 4-0 win over Basel at St. Jakob Park. Pep Guardiola's side have been shortened from 3/1 (4.0) into 11/4 (3.75) to win the tournament, having all but sealed their spot in the quarter-finals.

Wednesday's action sees Porto (21/10) host Liverpool (13/10) and Real Madrid (5/4) take on PSG (2/1) in a last 16 tie that is worth of being a showpiece finale between two of Europe's footballing superpowers.

While Los Blancos are fancied to get the better of their visitors in the first leg, PSG (4/1) are half the price of the champions in the outright market with dabblebet - so the bookmakers ultimately expect Unai Emery’s men to progress to the quarter finals.

Despite back-to-back Champions League victories, Zinedine Zidane is under pressure to deliver a third European crown in light of a disappointing La Liga campaign.
