Wales celebrate
Our tipster thinks that the goals will flow when Chris Coleman's side meet Marcel Koller's charges for Saturday's do-or-die World Cup qualifier

Wales are desperate to return to winning ways as they aim to get their World Cup qualification campaign back on track against Austria on Saturday evening.

Chris Coleman's side were surprise semi-finalists at the European Championships in France last summer and the Dragons rode the crest of that wave coming into this campaign as they enjoyed a 4-0 mauling of Moldova in their opening Group D fixture.

Since then, though, Wales have been left frustrated as they have been forced to settle for a share of the spoils in each of their last five World Cup qualifiers. The Dragons, therefore, remain undefeated in Group D, but with just eight points from their six matches, Coleman's side are off the pace set by Serbia and Republic of Ireland.

Victory is essential on Saturday if Wales are to kickstart their qualification campaign and Genting go 6/5 (2.20) that they deliver all three points and 9/4 (3.25) that Coleman's side are held for a sixth successive time.

Austria, though, will be determined to reignite their own World Cup ambitions. Marcel Koller's charges were expected to do well in Group D, having dropped just two points in qualifying for Euro 2016, but the Austrians, too, have collected just eight points from their opening six games.

Back-to-back defeats against Serbia and Republic of Ireland respectively were a hammer blow to Austrian ambitions of progression, but Koller's charges will feel that a play-off place will remain within reach should they come out on top in Cardiff. There is 5/2 (3.50) that the visitors are victorious here.

There have been fewer than three goals scored in Wales' last four fixtures, as well as in each of Austria's last five matches and, with so much at stake for both sides, there is certainly a chance of another tight, tense encounter on this occasion. Genting go 8/15 (1.53) that there are fewer than three goals scored, with 8/11 (1.73) that either team fails to find the net.

Austria have scored in all but one of their last 16 qualification matches for major tournaments though and Koller's charges will be keen to ensure that they do not go out without a bang in Wales.

Coleman's side have plenty of potential for goals too, for talisman Gareth Bale is back in the squad having missed the trip to Serbia in June through suspension, while Sam Vokes and Hal Robson-Kanu have both been on target for their respective clubs in the opening weeks of the Premier League season.

The even money (2.0) quote for both teams to score, therefore, looks to offer decent value for punters, with 16/5 (4.20) that there are at least four goals scored - a selection that would have landed when these teams met in Vienna back in October.

Better value, though, lies in backing at least three goals to be scored at 13/10 (2.30) ahead of Saturday's showdown in Cardiff.

Over 2.5 goals at 13/10 (2.30) for a 1pt stake with Genting
