Barcelona celebrate 2018-19
The strong home record of the Catalan giants in the elite European competition would be enough to see them into the quarterfinals

FC Barcelona host Olympique Lyon in the second leg of the Champions League last 16 at the Camp Nou, with an eye on making it into the last eight of the competition.

Ernesto Valverde might have been disappointed in the fact that his side could only get a goalless draw from the first leg in France. He’ll however be buoyed by their strong home form in the Champions League.

Indeed, they’ve won 26 of their last 29 matches at the Camp Nou and have made it to the last eight for the past 11 seasons. They are thus quoted favourites at odds of (1.26) with BetKing, to make it to their 12th straight quarterfinal.

Les Gones are in a very tricky situation and have a couple of factors that don’t favour them here.

They’ve lost all their three away games with Barcelona, conceding a mammoth 10 goals. They have also lost seven of their last nine Champions League knockout games on the road, failing to score in the previous four.

All these make them the outright underdogs for this clash at odds of (11.00) with the same firm.

A score draw would be enough to see Lyon go through on away goals and should that happen at the end of 90 minutes, huge odds of (6.50) are on the table.
