As long as it’s a bitter rivalry, expect things to be tense in this clash of the continental giants

South America’s two biggest nations in Brazil and Argentina renew their fierce rivalry in an i nternational friendly at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Since their World Cup quarter-final defeat to Belgium, the Selecao have recorded commanding victories against the United States, El Salvador and most recently Saudi Arabia and BetKing quotes them at (1.60) to get the better of their rivals.

The Albiceleste on their path have recorded two wins against Guatemala and Iraq and a draw with Colombia, after their disappointing 4-3 last 16 defeat to eventual world champions France.

The same bet firm places them as underdogs at odds of (5.50).

There is hardly much that separates these two giants in that 14 of the previous meetings reads five wins for Brazil, four wins for Argentina and five draws.

This is not a competitive fixture, hence not much energy will be put into it, and a good reason why a stalemate at odds of (3.85) looks very likely in Jeddah.
