Losper was able to find a new home outside the transfer window as he had been a free agent since leaving the Urban Warriors last season

Baroka FC have completed the signing of former Ajax Cape Town attacking midfielder Toriq Losper.

Losper joins Baroka on a free transfer after parting ways with the Urban Warriors last season.

The club took to their social media platforms to announce the deal.

Losper, 26, featured 13 times for the Ikamva-based outfit under the tutelage of Muhsin Ertugral last season as injuries took their toll on him.

He left the Mother City club after six years with the first team, although he also played for Bidvest Wits during the 2014/15 campaign.

His loan move at Wits wasn't a success, and he returned to Cape Town to claim his place in the Ajax's starting line-up.

This is a third PSL club he has signed for since being promoted to Ajax's first team six seasons ago.

He will be hoping to resurrect his career which took a nosedive a couple of seasons ago.

Under Wedson Nyirenda, Losper will battle for a place in the starting line-up with the likes of Talent Chawapiwa among others.
