Bakary Sako scores as Crystal Palace edge West Bromwich Albion

Bakary Sako scored the winning goal in Crystal Palace’s 2-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League Asia Trophy on Saturday.

The Eagles bounced back from their 2-0 defeat to Liverpool with Luka Milivojević and Bakary Sako registering their names in the scorer's sheet in the first half of the encounter.

Luka Milivojević opened scoring for the Frank de Boer’s men 11 minutes into the game before Sako doubled the lead with a deflected shot in the 43rd minute.

The 29-year-old midfielder was later replaced by Yohan Cabaye in the 60th minute as the Selhurst Park outfit ended their Asia tour on a winning note.

Ghana’s Jeffrey Schlupp was also on parade for Crystal Palace for 46 minutes before Patrick van Aanholt was brought on.
