Bafana Bafana climb six places in latest Fifa rankings

Bafana Bafana have climbed six places in the latest Fifa World Rankings released on Monday.

Stuart Baxter's men recently beat 3-1 Burkina Faso in the 2018 Fifa World Cup qualfiers, and the win has seen them move to position 74 in the world.

With Senegal lying in wait for the 1996 African champs, things could get better for them in the November rankings, provided they beat Teranga Lions in back-to-back to matches.

Bafana are still ranked outside the top 10 on the continent as they're currently placed in position 16.

Egypt remains the number one ranked team in Africa, and at number 30 in the world. Their success in the World Cup qualifiers did them a world of good.
