Kaizer Chiefs head coach Steve Komphela believes that the 2016/17 Premier Soccer League (PSL) title will be decided next month.
Amakhosi, who have played 20 PSL matches, are currently three points behind league log leaders Bidvest Wits, who have a game in hand.
Komphela is aware of the fact that Chiefs will go into the Fifa international break sitting at the top of the log if they beat Baroka FC on Saturday night and other results go their way.
“We have prepared well for the game. They have had some recent changes in their team set-up," Komphela told club's official website.
"But we are ready for any challenge. Every team always lift their game when facing Chiefs. They will be a different and dangerous side to play against come Saturday," he said.
“We take it one game at a time. At the moment, we are fully focussed on the Baroka encounter," Komphela continued.
"We are looking for a good result, also to put us on a good footing for April, which will be a deciding month when it comes to who will take the league title," he concluded.
The last time Chiefs won the league title was two years ago under the guidance of Stuart Baxter, who is currently in charge of high-flying SuperSport United.
