Tusker FC head coach George Nsimbe has blamed match officials for his side lose to AFC Leopards in a Kenyan Premier League match on Thursday.
Ingwe stunned league defending champions thanks to a Samuel Ndung’u’s solitary goal in the 83 minute that left Tusker wallowing on eighth place on the log.
But the Ugandan tactician took issues with the referee whom he says did not take control of the match that was characterized by some hard and reckless tackles.
“The referee made some decisions that greatly contributed to our lose,” Nsimbe fumed.
This is not the first time that a KPL club has pointed an accusing finger at the match officials this season. Mathare United and Bandari blamed the referee in their respective matches against Sony Sugar and Kakamega Homeboyz.
The win pushed Tusker down in the mid table while Ingwe moved three places up to 12th as they prepare to take on perennial rivals, Gor Mahia on Sunday’s Mashemeji derby.
