India U-16 girls thrashed Pakistan 4-0 in their second AFC U-16 Women's Championship qualifier at the MFF Stadium in Ulaanbaatar on Wednesday.

Avika Singh (22') opened the scoring for India and the Pakistani goalkeeper Ayesha (43') conceded an own goal, helping India attain a two-goal lead at the break. Sunita Munda (82’) and Shilky Devi (88’) converted later on to complete the rout.

Sunita, Shilky and Avika combined well up front in the early stages of the match and a good low cross by Sunita in the 22nd-minute helped India take the lead.

Sunita breezed past her marker on the right flank and delivered a cross for Avika who tapped the ball into the net.

Pakistan's low block hurt their cause as goalkeeper Ayesha mistakenly sent the ball into her net, allowing India a two-goal cushion.

Creator then turned scorer as Sunita made it 3-0 with eight minutes left on the clock. Skipper Shilky Devi's composed finish through the middle six minutes later completed a 4-0 humiliation.

This is the winning team's second outing in the qualifying round after thrashing Hong Kong 6-1 in their first game. India are scheduled to take on hosts Mongolia in their next match on September 21, 2018.
