AFC Leopards have introduced two monthly awards for playing unit in a bid to motivate the players throughout the season.

Two players will be awarded every month; one award for the most disciplined player and the other one for the best player.

This development was announced during the club’s players-unveiling event conducted on Friday in Limuru and confirmed on their official facebook page.

“AFC Leopards Chairman Dan Mule has promised a monthly award for the best and most disciplined player. The best player will be chosen by the fans while the most disciplined player will be chosen by the technical bench. He said this in a luncheon where the National Executive Committee hosted the team at St. Paul’s Limuru.

"Mule also urged the players to work hard and maintain discipline as they are the ambassadors of the club on and off the pitch. Other NEC members present were Felix Shitsama, Oliver Napali, Stazo Omung’ala and the C.E.O Ronald Namai. The Captain Bernard Mang’oli promised that they will work hard as a team for better results for this season.”

AFC Leopards play away to Nakumatt at Thika Municipal Stadium on Sunday.
