The grand final of the AFC Cup is upon us. Here is what we can expect:

Air Force Club (IRQ) v Altyn Asyr (TKM)

Basra play hosts to the Grand Final of the AFC Cup 2018 where defending champions Air Force Club are pitted against Turkmenistan's Altyn Asyr.

Air Force Club will be looking to make it three wins in a row while Altyn Asyr are gunning for their first ever title. The Turkmen side have been the dark horses this tournament, having beaten the likes of Bengaluru FC and Istiklol.

But the Iraqi team are yet to be beaten in the tournament so far and last tasted defeat in the 2017 West Asia Zonal Final first leg against Al Wahda 13 months ago. Hammadi Ahmed is the danger man for Air Force Club and Altyn Asyr will do well to muzzle him.

Altyn Asyr are also undefeated in the tournament so far. They have scored 17 goals so far - the second-best record this season. Striker Altymyrat Annadurdyyev scored six of Altyn Asyr's 17 group stage goals and he will be the man to watch out for in their ranks.

Though Altyn Asyr are no pushovers, they will have to play out of their skins to beat Air Force Club.

Venue: Basra Sport City, Basra
Kick-off: October 27, 19:00 UTC+3
