Malmo quiet over Ghana’s Annan

The Swedish champions are interested in the Ghanaian midfielder but his demands can quash a possible deal

The sporting director of Malmo FF Daniel Andersson has hailed the qualities of Ghanaian holding midfielder Anthony Annan but has been quiet over his possible signing.

Goal Ghana can exclusively reveal that the demands of the player and his agent are driving away the Swedish champions, despite their high interest to have him in their fold.

“It is clear that Annan is a good football player, he has played over 60 times for Ghana. Anything on his transfer, I cannot say,” Andersson told Fotbollskanalen.

The 28-year-old enforcer has been released by Schalke 04 with his former club Rosenborg also interested in him.
