Black Stars start first training in Nelspruit ahead of Afcon semi-final against Burkina Faso

The Black Stars of Ghana are now in Nelspruit ahead of their semi-final game with Burkina Faso in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations.

The four-time African champions will train on Monday noon as part of preparations for the west African derby that could pave the way to end a 31-year-old trophy drought on the continent.

Ghana defeated debutants Cape Verde 2-0 on Saturday to reach the last-four whiles the Stallions sneaked into the semis in a 1-0 extra time win over the Sparrow Hawks of Togo.

The two sides will square off on Wednesday to decide who goes to the final with one of Nigeria or Mali.
