Ghana’s Mensah nears full recovery

The talented lateral defender is expected to be in action soon in the Swedish top-flight after three months out

Orebro SK's Ghanaian defender Samuel Laryea Mensah is nearing full recovery and will be back in the Swedish Allsvenskan after 11 weeks on the sidelines.

The 24-year-old who has been one of the best full backs in the Swedish league torn the cartilage and meniscus in his left knee in the early part of the season when his side played against Gotenborg.

“I have started with fitness and ball work now so in two weeks I will join the team,” Mensah told Goal Ghana.

The former Right to Dream and Forest Green of England player won Ostersunds’ player of the season last year at the Superattan.
