Former Ghana international Otto Addo is being considered as a scout for the Black Stars ahead of the 2014 World Cup.
Addo is in talks with coach Kwesi Appiah and could serve as a ‘spy’ on the Germans, who have been drawn with Ghana, the USA and Portugal in Group G.
The Hamburg assistant coach needs clearance from his team before he can finalise any deal with the 2010 World Cup quarter-finalists, Goal Ghana understands.
The German-born Ghanaian midfielder played for Ghana between 1999 and 2006. He has won the Bundesliga title with Borussia Dortmund and has previously played for Hannover 96, FSV Mainz 05 (2005–2007) and Hamburg 2(007-2008).
