Ghana international Samuel Inkoom has joined French side S.C Bastia for the rest of the season, Goal.com can confirm.
The 23-year-old has come to see his opportunities limited at Dnipro and, after discussions with the team, Inkoom has opted to seek more regular football at Ligue 1.
Inkoom fell out with coach Juande Ramos after he accepted to feature in Black Meteors’ qualification for the All Africa Games over a year ago.
Lack of playing time at Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk has also caused the right-back his role at national team level.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko player has also been handed his favourite No. 2 jersey .
Inkoom was part of Ghana’s Under-20 team that won the Fifa World Youth Championship in 2009, the first by an Africa country. He has also made 37 appearances for the national team.
