Prince Tagoe joins Al Ittifaq on a six-month loan deal

The ‘Prince of Goals’ was released by Buraspor early 2012 over poor performance, but his former side has given him life again on the pitch
Ghana international Prince Tagoe has inked a six-month loan deal with his former club Al Ittifaq.

Goal.com Ghana revealed late last year talks have reached an advanced stage between the club and the player, who was a free agent then.

The ‘Prince of Goals’ enjoyed a successful spell with the Saudi Arabian side by scoring 36 goals in 54 appearances which helped them to win many laurels including the Gulf Cup in 2007.

The one-time Black Stars striker had a torrid time in Europe where he played for the likes of TSG Hoffenheim, Partizan Belgrade and Turkish side Bursaspor.

The striker was released by Buraspor early last year over poor performance.
