Ghanaian born Robin Quaison gets another Swedish Under-21 call-up

Quaison, who was born in Stockholm to a Ghanaian father and a Swedish mother, has been invited with another Ghanaian Joseph Baffo of Helsingborg
AIK's Ghanaian born midfielder Robin Quaison has been called up by the Swedish national Under-21 team as they take on Czech Republic in Prague on November 14 in a Fifa international friendly to prepare the team ahead of their qualifiers.

Quaison impressed coaches Hakan Ericson and Tommy Soderberg on his debut in which Sweden lost 3-2 to Italy in Stockholm on October 16 and he is expected to play key roles in the team.

Also given a call-up is Joseph Baffo, another Ghanaian who features regularly for Helsingborg and has been in fantastic form for the Swedish Europa league campaigners.

Quaison, 19, was born in Stockholm to a Ghanaian father and a Swedish mother and had previously played for the Swedish national U17 team.

He netted eight goals in 17 appearances for Vasby United before signing for AIK this season.
