Hacken’s Abdul Majeed Waris set for Russian side Spartak Moscow in January

Ghana international striker Abdul Majeed Waris is very close to signing for Russian champions and Uefa Champions league campaigners Spartak Moscow when the transfer window opens in January.

“Majeed and his agent are in Russia to finalize talks with the Russian champions and it is certain that he would sign and play for them in January,” a close source to the player in Sweden hinted Goal.com Ghana.

“CSKA Moscow and Zenith St. Petersburg are also interested but for now he is home and dry to play for Spartak.”

Majeed, 21, banged in 24 goals for Hacken to emerge the goal king in the Swedish Allsvenskan and attracted interest from PSV, Schalke and Norwich City.
