That's all for now though, goodbye!
The result means that Leeds climb to 16th while Newcastle rise to 18th.
A thrilling match ends 1-1. The first half was breathless - from the moment Leeds took the lead it was a frantic, end-to-end affair. Raphinha kicked things off when Rodrigo dummied his cross, allowing it to nestle in the far corner. From there, both Raphinha and Rodrigo had clear chances to add to the lead. Newcastle played their part though and almost equalised through Joelinton and Almiron. The hosts eventually levelled things just before the break through Saint-Maximin's fine individual effort. The second half was a more sedate encounter, but Raphinha and Saint-Maximin continued to shine. The latter in particular caused Leeds problems throughout, albeit neither side could find a winner and it finished all square.
90' + 6' FULL TIME: Newcastle United 1-1 Leeds United
90' + 5' Chance! Summerville threads a pass through to Firpo who slams in a dangerous low cross from the byline. Bamford hunts for it at the near post, but Hayden gets there first to hack it away!
90' + 3' Summerville almost knocks it past Ritchie following a cross from Roberts, but the ball ricochets into Ritchie allowing the defender to clear.
J. Murphy
90' + 1' Joelinton is replaced on the wing by Murphy.
90' + 1' Four minutes of stoppage time are added on.
90' Klich's 25-yard strike bounces dangerously in front of Darlow, but the goalkeeper does well to gather it without spilling.
J. Shackleton
L. Ayling
89' Ayling can't overcome his injury and he's replaced by Shackleton.
89' Joeltinton heads on Ritchie's corner but Meslier sails out to claim it.
88' Ayling returns to the pitch to continue, but Newcastle will look to test him now.
86' There's a delay as Ayling receives treatment for a knock to his knee. Leeds can't afford for another defender to be out injured for any length of time.
84' Chance! Saint-Maximin charges away on the break again and this time he drives all the way into the box against the backtracking Firpo, before cracking off a vicious shot that Meslier does well to parry.
83' Lascelles header is comfortable for Meslier to get to.
Junior Firpo
Yellow Card
81' Firpo is booked after hauling Lascelles over.
E. Krafth
Javi Manquillo
81' Manquillo jogs off to be replaced by Krafth.
81' Both Bamford and Manquillo seem okay to continue following a brief delay for treatment.
79' Bamford and Manquillo are both down and require treatment following a hefty collision on the edge of the box.
77' Leeds are still pushing for a winner, but Newcastle look equally threatening on the break. This game is finely poised as we enter the final 10 minutes.
75' Fraser shoots from 18 yards but it's charged down by Ayling. The ball falls to Saint-Maximin who wriggles into space before drilling a low shot that Meslier pounces on.
74' Bamford meets Roberts' cross at the near post, but he's at an awkward angle and can only flick his effort well wide.
73' Chance! Rodrigo picks out the run of Bamford with a superb pass to send the striker through! However, Bamford opts to hit it first time from 15 yards and his shot weakly trickles to the left of Darlow who makes an easy save.
72' Roberts looks for the clever run of Bamford, he can't get the right weight on his pass and it rolls through to Darlow.
70' Cooper can only head Willock's pass out to Longstaff, but he slices his half-volley wastefully over the bar.
68' Longstaff fires high and wide from 30 yards.
C. Summerville
67' Raphinha makes way for Summerville after a superb attacking display.
66' Despite an exciting attacking display today, Newcastle have continued an early-season pattern of surrendering plenty of chances. Newcastle have conceded more goals than any other side in the Premier League this season (13), while they've also have the highest xG against figure in the competition this term (10.5 pre match).
64' Phillips darts inside and searches for Roberts with a throughball, but it's too heavy and races behind for a goal kick.
R. Fraser
M. Almirón
62' Newcastle also make a change: Fraser comes on for Almiron.
T. Roberts
D. James
61' James is replaced by Roberts in attack.
61' Chance! Rodrigo rides a number of challenges before feeding Klich, whose 18-yard strike trickles into the grasp of Darlow. A firm contact would have caused the goalkeeper problems there.
60' Big save! Saint-Maximin continues to cause Leeds all sorts of problems. This time he gets free down the left and advances towards goal from a tight angle before lashing a fierce strike at the near post, that Meslier firmly pushes away behind!
59' Ritchie's deep free-kick evades everyone and drifts away for a throw-in.
Yellow Card
57' Rodrigo is booked after cynically hauling Almiron over near the halfway line.
56' This half hasn't been quite as open as the first period so far. Both teams look to have tightened up after giving up plenty of chances.
55' Saint-Maximin goes on another electric run, as he rides a number of challenges. Cooper fouls him on the edge of the box, but he manages to slip a pass into Joelinton just before, but the attacker responds by curling a wayward effort high and wide.
53' Big save from Darlow! James spins in a dangerous cross and Lascelles inadvertently flicks a header towards goal, forcing Darlow into a flying save to tip it away.
51' Dallas' deep cross falls to James at the back post, but he screws his effort well wide.
49' Raphina's audacious outside-of-the-foot cross is claimed by Darlow.
48' Raphinha was at the heart of everything for Leeds in the first half and he was the stand-out player between both teams. He produced four shots and created three chances in the first 45 minutes.
46' Newcastle get the second half underway.
Both teams look confident going forward, and fragile in defence - you'd expect more goals to follow.
A breathless half ends 1-1. This has been end-to-end ever since Leeds' early goal. The action started when Raphinha's cross evaded everyone and nestled into the far corner; from there, both teams had plenty of chances. Raphinha and Rodrigo could have both added to Leeds' advantage, while Ritchie and Joelinton went agonisingly close at the other end. Eventually, Newcastle equalised though when Saint-Maximin found enough space to squeeze a low shot past Meslier to make it 1-1 just before the break.
45' + 4' HALF TIME: Newcastle United 1-1 Leeds United
45' + 3' Multiple chances for Leeds! Firpo launches a counter-attack and runs 60 yards with a thrilling sprint. This leads to a three-on-one and Firpo keeps his composure before picking out Raphinha at the back post. Raphinha has plenty of time to shoot from close range, but he hesitates for an age and his eventual strike is blocked. Leeds keep the attack alive though and Klich's shot ricochets to Firpo who blazes a wild shot over from close range!
45' + 1' Three minutes of stoppage time are added on.
44' Joelinton showed plenty of intelligence to pick out Saint-Maximin with a pass to feet inside the box, but that goal was all about Saint-Maximin. He's had a dazzling half and he's capped it off with a brilliant goal.
A. Saint-Maximin
44' SAINT-MAXIMIN! 1-1! Newcastle equalise. Joelinton feeds a neat pass into Saint-Maximin inside the box, and the attacker takes it from there. Saint-Maximin feints and weaves through a number of challenges, before engineering just enough space to shoot and firing a low effort across goal and in from 10 yards.
43' Longstaff's awkward 25-yard strike trickles into the arms of Meslier.
42' The tempo has, finally, started to slow down as we approach half time. Leeds are now passing it around the back more cautiously as they look to retain their lead.
40' The home fans are left furious as the referee plays on following - what seemed to be - a trip on Almiron. Leeds manage to force a corner following the no-call, but it's cleared by Clark.
M. Almirón
Yellow Card
39' Almiron is shown a yellow card after the referee judged that he'd dived near the centre-circle.
38' Leeds spring another counter-attack. Raphinha releases Rodrigo who breezes past Manquillo before having his cross blocked behind for a corner. The set-piece amounts to nothing.
36' Off the post! Ritchie thunders a low strike from 25 yards and it smashes against the inside of the post and away to safety!
35' Big save! Leeds hit Newcastle on the break as James finds Raphinha out wide. Raphinha cuts inside and rolls it to Klich who fires in a low effort across goal from the edge of the box, that Darlow does well to save at the first attempt.
34' Leeds have looked incisive in attack so far: they've produced nine shots already.
32' Saint-Maximin is causing all sorts of problems down the right flank. This time he drags two Leeds defenders towards him, before drilling in a low cross that Phillips anxiously hacks clear.
30' Just wide! Another intricate Leeds move ends with Rodrigo pulling a pass back to Phillips on the edge of the box. The midfielder proceeds to curl a first-time effort inches wide of the near post. Darlow would have struggled to save that if it was on target!
28' This game has been breathless! Since Leeds took the lead there have been huge chances for both sides: Leeds are still committing numbers forward in attack, while Newcastle are looking potent on the break. It's a mixture that's resulted in a thrilling game.
27' Close! Rodrigo hits a cultured, low shot from 20 yards that rolls inches wide of the post.
25' Brilliant save! Newcastle go close to an equaliser again. Saint-Maximin races away from Firpo on the break and he carries it into the box, before cutting it back to Almiron. Almiron miskicks his shot and it falls kindly to Joelinton who slams a fierce shot from close range that Meslier blocks away!
23' Willock almost latches onto Saint-Maximin's pass but Cooper muscles him off the ball.
21' Almost! Newcastle come close to an equaliser. Ritchie's cross flicks off Ayling and falls to Almiron who rifles a low shot across goal and inches wide from eight yards.
20' Raphinha goes close again! Newcastle fail to clear a corner properly and it falls to Raphinha on the edge of the box, where he cuts inside before firing a vicious low shot that Darlow keeps out with his legs.
19' Chance! Ritchie gets caught on the wrong side of Raphinha and the Leeds man advances towards Darlow at an angle, before Ritchie manages to make a last-ditch tackle.
17' Klich lets fly from distance but it's a comfortable save for Darlow.
15' Well, it's a dream start for Leeds. They've completely controlled this game and Raphinha's cross has given them the lead. They came into this one under a little pressure, but they should be feeling a little more relaxed now.
P. Bamford
13' Bamford played a simple pass into Raphinha out wide, but surely even he didn't expect that cross to beat everyone and find the back of the net!
13' RAPHINHA! 1-0! Leeds take a deserved early lead. The visitors pour forward again and Bamford feeds Raphinha out wide. Raphinha jinks inside before whipping in a dangerous cross that misses Rodrigo before nestling into the far bottom corner!
12' Chance! Rodrigo bursts past Longstaff before continuing into the box. The attacker gets deep inside the area and squares it towards Raphinha who can only stretch and poke it straight into the arms of Darlow from close range!
11' Firpo advances into a promising position near the byline, but his cross drifts over everyone.
9' This game's settling into a clear pattern already. Leeds are dominating possession and throwing men forward in attack; while Newcastle sit deep and wait for chances to break into the huge areas of space the visitors are leaving behind.
M. Ritchie
Yellow Card
8' Ritchie is shown a yellow card after clattering into Raphinha near the touchline.
7' Meslier pounces on Ritchie's dangerous low cross following neat work from Saint-Maximin down the left flank.
6' Newcastle finally get a taste of possession, but Klich quickly trips Almiron to prevent their counter-attack.
4' Raphinha picks out Bamford on the edge of the box with an extravagant flick, and the striker takes a touch before lofting a speculative half-volley over the bar.
3' The visitors immediately settle into the game with a long spell of possession inside their own half.
1' Leeds get the first half underway.
The players are emerging from the tunnel and kick off is just seconds away!
It isn’t much of a surprise that Newcastle have looked for something different in goal. Newcastle’s Freddie Woodman has conceded 12 goals in his four Premier League games so far – the most goals conceded by a goalkeeper in their first five starts in the competition is 14 (Swindon’s Fraser Digby in 1993-94). Darlow will be under pressure to arrest this slide today.
Leeds, meanwhile, make two changes: Jack Harrison and Diego Llorente both make way due to illness and injury – they’re replaced by Klich and James.
Newcastle make just one change to the side that lost to Man Utd: Freddie Woodman is replaced in goal by Darlow.

Leeds have had a similarly difficult start to the season, but Marcelo Bielsa won’t be under quite as much pressure as Steve Bruce following their excellent return to the Premier League last season. The visitors have just two points from four games and find themselves in 17th though.
Hello and welcome to live commentary of this Premier League fixture between Newcastle United and Leeds United. Newcastle enter this one following a difficult start to the season. They’re fresh off a 4-1 defeat to Manchester United and with just one point from four games, they’ll be under significant pressure to get a positive result today.
