K'Ogalo defeated the Dockers to hand coach Andre Casa Mbungo his first loss

Gor Mahia put up a decent display to defeat Bandari 3-1 in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League game played at Mbaraki Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Jules Ulimwengu scored a brace for the reigning champions with Nicholas Kipkirui getting a third. Bernard Odhiambo scored for the hosts.

The Dockers started the match on a high and in the fifth minute, they had already won a corner. It was a desperate safety measure for defender Michael Apudo who was under pressure by the advancing Hassan Abdallah.

The visitors had a chance to get the ball on target in the 15th minute when they won a free-kick in a good area but captain Kenneth Muguna failed to hit the target.

Boniface Oluoch almost gifted the Coastal-based side an opener in the 20th minute. The custodian lost possession to Yema Mwana as he attempted to dribble past the forward. The latter passed the ball to the waiting Darius Msagha but his attempt hit the outside of the post.

In the 37th minute, the reigning champions managed to get the ball in the back of the net. A good attack ended with the ball going to Ulimwengu who expertly slotted the ball past Justin Ndikumana.

Three minutes later, Bandari were on level terms when captain Odhiambo headed in a cross much to the delight of the team's technical bench.

The Dockers seemingly lost concentration after getting an equalizer and were punished with seconds to the break courtesy of Ulimwengu.

In the 75th minute, Hassan managed to get past his markers before unleashing a good shot, but Oluoch was in a good position to make a save.

Kipkirui put his name on the scoresheet in stoppage time to ensure Andre Casa Mbungo suffered his first defeat as Bandari coach.
