Complacent Al Hilal edge past Al Wahda in Saudi King's Cup
Al Hilal edged past Al Wahda with a 3-2 scoreline after almost throwing a 3-0 cushion away in the King's Cup round of 32.

The Brazilian striker, Leo Bonatini opened the scoring for Al Hilal in the 16th minute, and the team’s skipper Yasser Al Qahtani added a second in the 41st minute from the penalty spot.

Leo Bonatini scored his second of the night on the 50th minute, and the match appeared to be in the bag, but Al Wahda’s forward Mukhtar Falata thought otherwise, and started a comeback attempt with a goal in the 64th minute.

Al Wahda decreased the gap with only 3 minutes left to play, when Muhannad Al Faresi scored his team’s second of the night, but Al Hilal managed to hold on to their remaining one goal lead and advanced to the next round to meet the winner of Al Nassr VS Al Nahda.
