    WHAT HAPPENED?

The 29-year-old striker is chasing a special goalscoring record that even the likes of Harry Kane and Thierry Henry have failed to achieve. If Mullin manages to get on the scoresheet in Wrexham's last game of the season against Stockport County, he will become the first player to score 25 or more league goals in four consecutive seasons of the top six tiers of English football.

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

In the pandemic-affected 2020/21 season, Mullin scored 32 goals in the league for Cambridge United before joining Wrexham in the summer of 2021 on a free transfer. In his first season with the Red Dragons, he scored 28 goals in the National League, followed by a tally of 38 during Wrexham's record-breaking title win.

    DID YOU KNOW?

So far this season, Mullin has scored 24 goals in 37 League Two appearances and a goal against Stockport would see him break the currently standing record of three consecutive seasons of 25+ goals. Currently, he holds the record alongside Thierry Henry, Harry Kane, Jordan Rhodes, Danny Rowe, Macaulay Langstaff and Shaun Jeffers.
