    WHAT THE FANS ARE SAYING

Arsenal fan Joe tweeted: "Incredible how your whole season can be over in a week," while Kijana Ya Atwoli wrote: "No good goal attempts today, we need a number 9. Out of the Champions League, we fumbled the Premier League, too. Am so embarrassed with my team. Another trophyless season."

In response to Arsenal's official X (formerly Twitter) account tweeting: "A Champions League journey to be proud of," Gunners fans responded in furious fashion.

Weffrey Jellington tweeted: "A champions league journey to be proud of would be I don’t know…actually winning the trophy," and King.sol replied: "Proud of failure?"
