WHAT WAS SAID

<p>With La Liga currently on hold for a brief Christmas break, the footballers are enjoying the festive period. Los Blancos headed into the break reclaiming the top position on the league table after <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/jude-bellingham-reacts-10-man-real-madrid-last-gasp-victory-alaves-girona-top-la-liga/blta54b39548bf00268" target="_blank">edging out Alaves</a> on Thursday with a last-gasp strike. They are currently tied on points with Girona but are ahead of goal difference.</p>
