WHAT HAPPENED?
The 22-year-old forward is embracing a fresh start in France after completing a £27 million ($34m) move away from Old Trafford. He enjoyed a productive loan spell at La Liga side Getafe last season, landing their Player of the Year award, and is making an immediate impact in his new surroundings.
Greenwood had his marker chasing shadows midway through the first-half against Augsburg, as he tied the German defence in knots before shifting the ball onto his right foot and firing low into the bottom corner. Said goal earned a “perfect” billing from Marseille on social media.
