  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Greenwood has hit the ground running in pre-season for Marseille, with his goal account being opened in friendly fixtures. His latest strike was recorded in a 3-1 victory over Augsburg, taking him to two efforts through three appearances for the Ligue 1 giants.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Greenwood had his marker chasing shadows midway through the first-half against Augsburg, as he tied the German defence in knots before shifting the ball onto his right foot and firing low into the bottom corner. Said goal earned a “perfect” billing from Marseille on social media.
