Lehmann is embracing the project in Como on and off the field, as they look to break down barriers. She has been helping to do that throughout her career after becoming one of the most recognisable players in the women’s game.

She was able to savour tangible success with Juve last season, as they secured a domestic double, but was never a guaranteed starter for the Turin giants. More regular game time will be enjoyed with Como.

Lehmann has been making an immediate impact in new surroundings, with her latest outing seeing her hit the back of the net. Said effort was aided by a considerable deflection, which took the ball away from the goalkeeper.

After seeing her strike loop beyond a despairing opponent, Lehman wheeled away in celebration. After going for a spot of ‘fishing’, the Switzerland international was joined by jubilant team-mates. The former WSL star will be hoping that said effort is the first of many in the 2025-26 campaign.
