    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The Nigerian striker scored 37 goals and eight assists in all competitions for Galatasaray which saw them winning the domestic double last season.  This has attracted interest from Premier League clubs, with Manchester United said to be interested, and Al-Hilal, who are ready to offer the player €40 million (£34m/$46m) per year.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Osimhen has also attracted an offer from Juventus, but the €75m (£63m/$87m) release clause in his contract is only valid for non-Italian clubs, allowing Serie A champions Napoli to demand an even greater fee from their rivals.

    WHAT NEXT FOR OSIMHEN?

Galatasaray will now hope that Osimhen will select the Turkish club over other offers. Galatasaray vice-president Abdullah Kavucu spoke about how they are persistent on getting him while they have no plan B otherwise. For Osimhen whose future seems to be away from Napoli, he will want to assess all the options on the table before he selects a new club.
