Tessmann enjoyed his breakout campaign in Italy last season as he scored seven goals and provided three assists in 42 games to help lift Venezia to promotion. Ahead of the season, rumors began to swirl about a potential transfer, with Venezia admitting that Tessmann was no longer part of their plans as a result.
On the international front, Tessmann was arguably the best player for the U.S. at this summer's Olympics. Internationally, the 22-year-old midfielder has earned two caps for the USMNT and will hope to use the move to push for a World Cup spot ahead of the 2026 tournament.
