    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Bizarrely, two players have also been called up by England's six-a-side team for the upcoming World Minifootball Federation U23 World Cup. Lancing are currently 20th in the Isthmian South East League and have only won one game this season.

  • WHAT LANCING SAID

Lancing FC chairman Barry Sutton said: "It's ridiculous for a club at this level. To have one person called up was something we celebrated but to have four off in the same week is unheard of."
