The Serie A side are looking to overhaul their attack during the summer transfer window, having decided they have no desire to keep Romelu Lukaku beyond his current loan from Chelsea. THE BIGGER PICTURE

Abraham endured a difficult season in the Italian capital, having sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury last year that kept him out of action until April. He featured in only the final eight league matches of the campaign, starting two of them and scoring just once.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Abraham, who joined Roma from Chelsea in 2021, could be on his way back to England, with Bournemouth listed as a possible destination for the 26-year-old. The Cherries recently hired ex-Roma director Tiago Pinto and he could opt to reunite with Abraham at Dean Court this summer as he looks to strengthen their attack.

    WHAT NEXT FOR ABRAHAM?

The English striker will await further developments regarding his future, but his options may be limited after having hardly played throughout the 2023-24 campaign. His goal record of 37 goals in 119 appearances for the Italian team could, however, convince some teams to snap him up.
